Going Mobile
Building the real-time enterprise with mobile
applications that work
(co-authored with Keri Hayes; CMP Books 2003).
This book helps non-technical executives understand
the opportunities and potential return on investment
for enabling mobile access to business information
and systems.
In September 2005, one reviewer said, "I am part of an
enterprise sales team and new to the wireless
mobility space. I was looking for a good book to bring
me up to speed on what our customers are thinking
and to find where the business value is. This book is a
great unbiased primer IMHO."
I've authored two independent research reports on the wireless data
industry. Both were published by CMP Media.
Profiting From Option-Rich Networks,
published in December 2001, discussed
how intelligent network components for 3G
networks would enable new models for
premium wireless data services. The report
sold for $1750.
Getting in the Wireless Game: Opportunities
and Entry Points, published in February
2002, laid out the ecosystem for wireless
entertainment, identifying the opportunities
and critical business relationships for video
and computer game makers to provide
wireless offerings. The report sold for $650.
